RBI Grade B 2023 Notification: The Reserve Bank of India announces vacancies for direct recruitment every year for the posts of officers in Grade B (DR) (GENERAL), officers in Grade B (DR) (DEPR) and officers in Grade B (DR) (DSIM).

RBI Grade B 2023 Exam Date: RBI Grade B 2023 notification has been released in Newspaper for 222 Posts and exams will be conducted in the month of July 2023.

What is asked in Economics and Social Issue : Objective Section (50 Marks)

  • ESI in RBI Grade B Phase II Contains - RBI/SEBI Circulars (10-12 marks) + Programs and Policies (18-20 Marks) + Reports and Indices (10-12 Marks) + Miscellaneous (8-10 Marks)

- Although IBPS has been asking such Flagship schemes which have been in news so we can say that somehow II & III are same but for Ministries such as Environment, Finance, Health, Education, Social Justice, MSME, Women and Tribal, it is very much recommended that you cover all the schemes from these ministry because we never know what they may ask.

- First and foremost source to cover Newly launched programs and Programs in News are PIB website.
- Apart from that to cover flagship schemes of above mentioned Ministry you can use Ministry website or any notes and make your own short notes covering all the important points. Just remember these questions are very peculiar, just reading some Highlights won't help. You should cover it in detail. 

Q. How many months of PIB needs to be done? 

- You should cover 6-8 months of PIB for Mains exam. 

Q. Can government schemes be asked in Descriptive Writing in 10 Or 15 Markers? 

- Yes NABARD already asked it for 15 Marks in their Grade A Mains exam.

- It's not only you, even when I do these, I feel the same but this exam demands you to cover these so you should limit the content and revise it multiple times, revision is only around.

Q. Should I rely on YouTube videos or read it from website or Cover From any PDF?

- Covering only from YouTube video is definitely no, even if it's my videos, because it's not possible to put everything in those few slides. Although our mind keeps graphics for longer period than text so you can use it for supplement your content. You can use PDF if you find it difficult to cover from website but if you are comfortable covering by yourself then you can do it from website.

Q. If I'm doing from website by myself, should I cover news only from the ministries mentioned or from all the Ministries.

- There are around 14-15 ministries which somehow relates to our syllabus so covering those ministries are very much important but apart from that you should look for programs in other ministries. Like ministry of Power (SAUBHAGYA), tourism (Swadesh Darshan).
